Experience:
Technical Consultant
Perficient, Miami, Florida (Remote)
August 2018 to Present
I make it easier for content creators and marketers to work on large-scale campaigns by building libraries of reliable, attractive, and interactive Sitecore components for content creators using Vue.js, SCSS, .NET, C#, JavaScript, and other front-end libraries. In addition to creating flexible design systems based on clients’ design compositions, I work with backend developers and QA engineers to ensure accessibility in generated HTML.
Component Library for a Major Healthcare System
A major website redesign and update for a large not-for-profit healthcare system in southwestern Florida. In addition to semantic markup and styles, I worked to ensure components met high accessibility standards.
Major Redesign for a Major Retail Chain
A full update for a major retail chain, I was embedded with several other developers and helped bring their design system and component library up-to-date using Sitecore as a headless CMS and Vue.js for compontent UI.
Full-Stack Web Developer
Tenet Partners, Miami, Florida (Remote)
June 2016 to August 2018
I help build tools that help organizations and companies maintain their brand identity across their outfit and across the world. My work has included projects for clients including Lincoln Financial Group, Vallen, State Farm, Xerox, and Genesse & Wyoming.
Lincoln Financial Group Logo Request Tool
A web application designed to replace a tedious email process to approve requests for logo usage. The tool was designed and built so users can request specific branding for specific purposes, while administrators would have a central website from which to approve, deny, or correct said requests.
Conduent Brand Ensemble Style System and Layout
A brand management website built with Tenet Partners' propreitary Brand Ensemble digital asset management (DAM) system. With a weekend turnaround, I built out the style patterns and layouts, and troubleshot cross-browser formatting issues.
Brand Ensemble Digital Asset Management System
Tenet Partners' proprietary digital asset management system, designed as an end-to-end brand management solution. I help to maintain and update functionality of the core system, as well as work to improve its development tools.
Web Developer
Freelance, Miami, Florida
February 2014 to Present
I developed standards-compliant, responsive websites based on design compositions and wireframes. I worked to minimize cross-browser and mobile-responsiveness issues to ensure support for major browsers at a minimum.
Floating Lotus Recovery Massage
A single-page static site to promote a massage recovery service. Prototyped in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, I later rebuilt it as a mobile-responsive website using Boostrap and jQuery, making use of Formkeep for information capture.
A & G Creates' New Agency Website
A WordPress website with a fresh new look and responsive front-end for a local mom-and-pop design agency. I worked with the art director and designer to make sure their vision for the site's various interactions was technically viable, and that it wouldn't be lost in translation from desktop to mobile.
Coleman's Original Moonshine Cakes
A responsive Wordpress ecommerce site for a purveyor of moonshine-infused baked goods. I worked on all aspects of this website including building reusable styles, creating product taxonomies, and integrating payment processing and shipping cost calculation.
